'Giotto and the 14th century' show extended until July 26thJun 11

The public success of the 'Giotto and the 14th Century', organised in Rome, in the rooms of the Vittoriano Museum Complex in Rome, has led to the extension of the exhibition until July 26th. The closure will, therefore, be delayed by approximately a month with respect to the expected closing date of June 29th. The event has placed 150 works from the Uffizi Gallery, the Vatican Picture Gallery and the United States on display. During the 95 days that the exhibition has been open there were more than 180,000 visitors. The exhibition was organised under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and is promoted by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.
