Creation of new 'L'Italia delle Terme' guideJun 12

The 'L'Italia delle Terme' (Italian Spas) guide, created from the collaboration of the Touring Club and Federterme-Confindustria, is an identikit of the 285 spas located in 137 Italian tourism destinations. "The new guide is in bookstores to provide helpful responses to the new spa and wellness demand", stated Costanzo Janotti Pecci, the President of Federterme, "to be used as an opportunity for new experiences for excursions and cultural tourism for consumers who are sensitive to the proposals of sustainable and slow tourism". In fact, the guide is aimed at the tourism segment with a selection of addresses for 1,498 hotels, holiday farms, restaurants, artisan workshops, typical product shops and museums with synoptic tables that summarise curable illnesses and wellness treatments at Italian spas, indicated in alphabetical order region by region.
