A step back for Italy in the UKJul 01
According to GfK Retail and Technology, Italy has lost some ground amongst the most beloved destinations of the English for taking a holiday. The studies done by the company, however, indicate that the country is positioned well on the German market, where it is in fourth place after Spain, Turkey, and Greece, bypassing, for the first time, Egypt, which this year is in fifth position. Italy has also maintained a stable position as one of the preferred destinations of Italians, who continue to prefer domestic tourism.
