Tourism Promotion Agency of Pisa opens information point at GalileiJul 30

The Tourism Promotion Agency of Pisa has, in fact, decided to open a new information point, which is larger than the previous one and multilingual, for the thousands of passengers who land in Pisa and then head on to visit the Region. The new office, positioned in the Arrivals terminal, will provide information on the entire Tuscan offer, as well as propose itself as a services centre, allowing visitors to call a taxi, book hotels and purchase bus tickets. "The policy to support tourism has been effective", explained the Mayor of Pisa, Marco Filippeschi. "This has been demonstrated by the fact that Pisa has increased its number of visitors by 7% in a year of crisis for the sector". The administration of the Tuscan city hopes to soon have a connection between Pisa-Shanghai.
