Wine and food and the 'Mediterranean diet' are in the spotlight for the tourism policy of Liguria. The Region has decided to combine the area's finest sea products in terms of bathing, yachting and cruise traffic. "Liguria is pushing the sector with a cross-border project as well that seeks to transform the ports into 'gateways' to be opened wide to guests to offer them the finest of the territory", explained Tourism Councillor Angelo Berlangieri in a press release.
