These are the data provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan based on Unioncamere facts that indicated that the peak months were July, with more than 600,000 overnights and August with almost 900,000. In August the average cost of a holiday is 757 euros, with a preference for lakeside stays, with 39.6% of the total, and mountain stays, with 28.6% of the total.
